SPECIAL NOTES: QUEST Direct Hire - Do not apply to the Department of Civil Service.

Applicants must have taken and have scores on the COAST 7000-Behavior Assessment and 7001 Office Skill prior to applying for this position. Applicants with a percentile score of 40% or higher will be preferred; however applicants with percentile score lower than 40% will be considered.

The Hospital Admissions Technician (HAT) jobs are located at Medical Center of LA at New Orleans. Applications are accepted to create a list of eligible applicants from the current pool of applications received. Applications will be held for 90 days. Interested applicants should re-submit their applications after this time period. Jobs my involve rotating shifts.

SPECIAL ENTRACE RATE: The Hospital Admissions Technician 1 has a special entrance rate of $10.25 an hour plus $1.00 an hour retention pay and also shift and weekend differentials for most jobs.

IN ADDITION: Applicants fluent in Spanish are eligible for up to $5.00 an hour premium pay.

The selected applicant must take and pass a drug screen test prior to confirmation of appointment date.
