Duties include setting the strategic direction, providing supervision for patient registration personnel and their processes, and acting as liaison between registration and other hospital departments, fiscal intermediaries, insurance companies, government agencies and Patient Accounting. This work primarily involves the application of regulatory guidelines, communication, organization, process evaluation, the development of strategic initiatives, resolution of issues, and the supervision and coordination of all hospital and clinic admitting staff and processes.

Baccalaureate degree in Business plus three (3) years of management experience in hospital admission/registration-management and/or admit billing (An additional five (5) years of the experience specified above may substitute for the degree).

Proficiency in Windows 95 and all Microsoft Office Software. Working knowledge of the State and Federal financial assistance programs.
