LJCMC May Employee of the Month is Patrick Trahan
  
Patrick Trahan has been at LJCMC since 6/99 and works as an IT Analyst 4 in the IT Department. Patrick is a very loyal and dedicated employee.  In his 13 years of employment at LJC, he has become the “go to” person for many projects and requests from users throughout the hospital.  In addition to his many duties as the hospital network administrator, Patrick willingly volunteers in our annual disaster drills, most frequently as the roving reporter who tries to get info from unsuspecting employees.  Patrick also participated in the recent mass decontamination drill as a representative from Chabert, and studied for and received an amateur radio license (HAM) to assist with communications in the event of a disaster.  In addition to his participation in local requests, Patrick frequently works with vendors and our sister hospitals to provide connectivity and setup of system-required hardware and software.  His assistance in these activities makes him a valuable member not only the LJC community but in the whole LSU system. Patrick is as kind and attentive to our patients as he is to the users he works with on a regular basis offering assistance and directions with a smile.  His nature is to give 110% to everything he does.
