Life support courses are available for LJCMC staff and affiliate patient care providers.

Employees may register for Life Support Courses through Classes and Events in W.I.L.M.A.
All life support classes are held in the Education Building. 

Basic Life Support (BLS):  Healthcare Provider BLS is available for direct patient care personnel.  The four-hour initial course for the beginner is scheduled as needed.  The 3-hour renewal course is offered bi-monthly. CPR mask required.
Pre-Requisite for renewal course:  Healthcare Provider BLS

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS):  ACLS Provider courses are offered quarterly for direct patient care personnel.  The target audience includes nurses, physicians, physician extenders, respiratory therapists, and EKG staff.  Advanced enrollment and preparation are required.  ACLS books may be purchased through the LJCMC Business Office.
