In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, we have received numerous inquiries from employees regarding access to mental health care. Attached is a partial list of licensed clinical social workers in private practice in the Baton Rouge area who have indicated their willingness to see new patients. Where applicable, we have denoted those who specialize in children. Based on published data, this list indicates whether or not the respective clinical social worker participates in the United Behavioral Health (UBH) or Humana network. The LSU System Health Plan utilizes the UBH network. The Office of Group Benefits PPO, EPO, and MCO plans also utilize the UBH network. Humana utilizes its own network. If you desire to see a licensed clinical social worker that is not on this list, please verify their network status.
