driver's safety program

In accordance with LSU-HCSD Policy 4510-09, all employees are encouraged to attend the driver safety program. All employees designated as an approved driver shall attend a Louisiana Driver Safety Course within 3 months of employment, and must attend a refresher course at least every three (3) years. Please review this entire policy (In Global Outlook: go to Public Folders, HQ, Policies & Procedures, 4500 Personnel, and look for policy 4510-09).

The program is available online. LSU-HCSD Headquarters employees should contact Ecoee Rooney, Statewide Staff Education Team Leader at 504-903-0634 or jroone@lsuhsc.edu; employees of medical centers should contact the Education Director at your hospital.

comprehensive public training program (cptp)
supervisory mandatory training

LSU-HCSD Policy 4539-09 mandates supervisory training for classified and unclassified employees.

Job titles are assigned to one of three (3) supervisory groups which determine the course requirements.
