| These are two of the various means to create a desktop shortcut to a specific web page: | |||
| Right Click Method: |

| 1. | Go to the web page for which a shortcut is to be made (e.g., http://www.lsuhospitals.org/finance). | ||
| 2. | Right-click on any blank space on the page. | ||
| 3. | Click "Create Shortcut" from the popup menu that appears. | ||

| 2. | Size the web page so that you can see a portion of your desktop (see upper red circle in picture to the right). | ||
| 3. | Left click on the Internet Explorer icon located to the right of the address (see lower red circle in picture to the right). | ||
| 4. | While continuing to hold the left mouse button down, drag the mouse to a blank segment of the desktop. | ||
