While Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center has been participating in medical/clinical research activities for over a decade, it began an aggressive expansion of the Research Department in 2007. Today, research is being done in several clinical departments such as Oncology, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Pathology, Ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Neurology, etc. The department is also collaborating with neighboring medical institutions to expand its research efforts. The department is proliferating fast to bring the best investigational drugs, devices and interventions to our unique patient population.
