Tele/Videoconference Programs

A tele/videoconference program is a live televised presentation or meeting
broadcast from a distant site. The audience, often consisting of
multiple sites, interacts with each other just as if they were in the
same room. Speaker and audience groups see and hear each other
in near real time. Teleconference programs are held in the Education Building

HIV TELECONFERENCE SERIES FOR CLINICIANS
The Delta Region AIDS Education and Training Center offers a monthly CME/CNE program on various topics relevant to the diagnosis and care of patients with HIV/AIDS. Programs are usually on the second Wednesday of each month.

Registration for the HIV Series begins at 11:45am. The program begins promptly at 12:00pm and lasts for one hour. Lunch may be brought into the classroom during the event. You will be notified in advance if lunch will be provided.

AREA HEALTH EDUCATION CENTER (AHEC) TELEMEDICINE PROGRAMS
The Louisiana AHEC offers various teleconferencing programs. These programs will be listed as they become available.

LOUISIANA CANCER CONTROL PARTNERSHIP (LCCCP) PROVIDER SERIES
Lousiana Cancer Control Partnership The LCCCP's Action Through Planning is a coalition dedicated to reducing cancer disparities by providing a comprehensive, integrated, and coordinated approach to the continuum of cancer control delivery beginning with prevention, early detection, the end of life.

The LCCCP's videoconference offers public health professionals an opportunity to receive free continuing educational credits while increasing their knowledge on various cancer related topics. As a key stakeholder in the public health field of Louisiana, LCCP is able to offer partnerships from hospital to community. Programs will be listed as they become available. Registration is on-line. Simply click on the program title for the appropriate registration link.

The LCCCP's events begin promptly at 12:00 noon until approximately 1:30pm. Please feel free to bring a lunch.

**Many of these Teleconference programs offer CEU's with full attendance. Certificates will be presented to each participant after completion of the event.
