  • Fluoroscopy  - used to visualize the esophagus, upper and lower gastro-intestinal tract, kidneys and bladder.
  • Ultrasound -  used to visualize the breast, organs and blood vessels  in the neck, abdomen, pelvis and extremities
  • Computerized Axial Tomography (CT) – used to visualize organs and blood vessels in the head, neck, lungs, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.  Our scanner can also evaluate loss of bone density.
  • Mammography – used to visualize breast tissue in both male and female patients.
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Coming soon – used to visualize and evaluate organs and blood vessels in the body using magnetic energy instead of radiation.

CT – our NEW state-of-the-art Siemens Perspective 128 slice scanner, installed in August 2016  and provides:

  • Significant radiation dose reductions with the CARE Dose4D  - which enables acquisition of high diagnostic image quality. at the lowest possible dose for both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Faster and more efficient scanning time.
  • Information from 128 slices which can detect the smallest diagnostic details.

Mammo – Coming in November  a new state-of-the-art digital 3D Mammography unit  which will provide:

  • PRIME Technology, with up to 30% less radiation dose and uncompromised image quality.
  • Sharper breast images with more efficient workflow.
  • Instant image pre-view.
  • Tomosynthesis technology which shoots multiple breast images at once, creating a 3 dimensional  dataset. This produces up to 140 image slices at 2mm each, which can be rolled through and viewed in different sections.
  • Greater comfort for the patient with individualized “OpComp”  which automatically stops compression when the breast tissue is no longer soft and pliable.
