Our MNT is provided by a Registered Dietitian (RD) who is also a Certified Diabetes Educator.
This therapy involves nutrition education for disease prevention and counseling for chronic conditions. MNT can decrease disease risk, slow disease progression, and reduce disease symptoms. Individual and Group MNT are available to patients through a LJCMC physician referral.

Patients participating in the Smoking Cessation Program, the Diabetes Education and Wellness Program, or the Renal Beginnings Program may receive MNT without an additional physician referral.
