HarmonIQ Analytic and Reporting Platform (HARP)
The HARP Platform is a utility created to allow for the comprehensive review of performance/quality metrics for a particular institution. This platform is constructed under the concept of defined measure sets, such as Diabetes Mellitus, Population Wellness, and Medical Home. Within each defined measure set, there exist measures that align with clinical care guidelines as well as measures that look to expand the knowledge within a disease. Clinic leadership and administration have the ability to examine the performance of their institution from several levels, which include clinic-level, provider-level, and comparisons by clinic/provider.
The data driving the HARP Platform is updated monthly, which allows for the review of specific measures more frequently as improvement efforts are applied. Currently, this applies only to consensus approved metrics. In addition to the overall Measurement Platform, National Measurement platforms are under development that focuses on several Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) metrics. The rationale for these platforms is provide institutions a performance snapshot and provide insight into potential improvement opportunities.
