Frank Smart, MD
Dr. Smart is a tenured Professor at The LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and serves as the Chief of Cardiology at LSU. A graduate of LSU School of Medicine, Ochsner Foundation for residency and Baylor College of Medicine for cardiology training, Dr. Smart has been in clinical practice for 39 years. He is one of the leading cardiologist in the US specializing in heart failure and cardiac transplantation. He chose Cardiology as his specialty because he has always enjoyed physics and mechanics. The heart and circulatory system are closely linked to these areas.
Neeraj Jain, MD
Dr. Jain has been practicing medicine for the past 26 years. He chose Cardiology as his specialty because “the physiology of the heart makes sense to me driving my enthusiasm for caring for cardiac patients.”
